Welcome to Mountain View Electric Association’s web site. MVEA, incorporated in 1941, is a not-for-profit electric cooperative owned and run by the members it serves. We provide electric service to a portion of eight counties located within a 5,000 square mile territory. A board of directors from seven different geographic districts and elected by the members, governs our business. MVEA’s headquarters is in Limon, Colorado, with a large operations center located in Falcon, just east of Colorado Springs. Touchstone Energy Dutch Oven Cook-offs a Big Success
Mountain View Electric, KC Electric, Touchstone Energy and IREA sponsored three dutch oven cook-offs again this summer. These events are held at the Elbert County Fair, Lincoln County Fair and the Deer Trail Rodeo. More and more people are taking an interest in this event and everyone is amazed at the wonderful foods that are prepared in the cast iron ovens. For cook-off results click here.
